Supta="sleeping"; tri="three"; vikrama="strides." Trivikrama=appellation of a dwarf form of Vishnu; the "dwarf" grew to bestride the universe in two giant steps. From Shavasana, bring one leg straight back, foot beside your head, toes to the ground, held back as needed.

Variation 1

Take the heldback foot behind your head. This is Bhairavasana (bhairava="formidable," "horrible," "terrifying"; Bhairava is the destructive manifestation of Shiva). Hands may hold raised foot steady, ground palm down to steady torso, be in namaste; or wrap around torso and raised leg.
