Padangusta="big toe." Begin in Ardha-Uttanapada. Seize the big toe of the lifted foot with the same-side hand (ardhapadangustasana). Change sides and do the same. Then in full Uttanapada, seize both big toes.

Variation 1
From Ardha-Padangusta, take the raised leg out to the side and wide.
Variation 2
PART 1: From full Padangustasana, bring both feet back and down behind the head, grounding the big toes if possible.
PART 2: Open your legs.
