Nava="ship, boat." Begin in Shavasana. Balancing on your butt, raise both your legs (kept straight) and your torso (also kept straight). Hold your arms outside the knees and parallel to the ground.

Variation 1

Open your legs wide.

Variation 2

PART 1: From Shavasana, place your hands hands behind your head, raise your legs and curl your torso upward.

PART 2: Now open your legs.
