Hanuman: a monkey-deity. Begin in Rider. Keeping your palms firmly on the floor, push your front foot slowly forward into a full front split.
Variation 1
Hands in Namaste.
Variation 2
Hands in namaste, slowly rotate your torso into a straddle split (samakonasana) and then into the opposite-facing Hanumanasana.
Variation 3
Clasp hands and skypoint...
...then bend the rear leg and raise its foot.
Reach back and grasp the raised leg
Variation 4
Fold your torso forward and kiss the knee.
